The Global Fund for Jesus (GFFJ) was founded following a spiritual mandate received by its Chairman, Prof Sipho Mseleku, during a visit to Jerusalem on 15 November 2007. In a vision, he heard the instruction: “Arise, set up a global fund for Jesus,” a message repeated three times to emphasize its significance. This divine calling led to the establishment of GFFJ, which was officially launched on 18 November 2010 in Sandton. The organisation was created with the mission of carrying out the work of Jesus Christ by serving the poor, vulnerable, sick, oppressed, and those facing hardship in communities around the world.
Driven by the values of love, compassion, and service, GFFJ seeks to make a lasting impact through investment in high-impact development and humanitarian projects, particularly in developing countries. The organisation partners with communities and like-minded institutions to extend support where it is needed most, creating opportunities for empowerment, growth, and sustainable change. Through its work, GFFJ aims to demonstrate God’s love in practical ways, helping people overcome challenges, build capacity, and gain equitable access to opportunities while inspiring others to contribute to the upliftment of humanity.

The Vision
While on a tour of the Holy Land in Jerusalem, Chairman Prof. Sipho Mseleku received a vision in the early hours of the morning: a divine mandate to establish a global fund in the name of Jesus, repeated three times to emphasise its spiritual importance.
Building the Foundation
The intercession and prayer covering for the mission was established, working hand in hand with the Global Business Roundtable (GBR) network that would go on to mobilise ambassadors and volunteers worldwide.
Official Launch
The Global Fund For Jesus was formally launched in Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa, with a bold, God-inspired vision to grow into one of the largest funds of its kind in the world.
Expanding Across the Globe
Through the GBR network, GFFJ's mandate spread into new nations across Africa and beyond, with chapters and ambassadors launched in country after country to extend the reach of the mission.
International Recognition
GFFJ was registered as a charitable company in the United Kingdom, later gaining formal charity status, which strengthened its ability to receive donations and forge partnerships on an international scale.
A Multi-Sector Movement
GFFJ now drives impact across Education, Health Care, Food Security and Job Creation, from school uniform and stationery drives to clinics and gift hamper distribution, in partnership with organisations, businesses, faith communities and individuals who share the vision.
